MB-RAD certified by LIEBHERR
The global tower crane manufacturer LIEBHERR has approved the battery-operated torque wrenches of the MB-RAD series for tower crane assembly. This opens up new technical possibilities for the assembly companies to quickly and safely assemble the bolted connections.
The MB-RAD has a torque repeatability of 3 % and can be used reliably at ambient temperatures down to -20 °C without warming up. Thanks to the brushless electric motor, torque/angle controlled shut-off and limit value monitoring, the MB-RAD works extremely precisely and is a lot faster than any hydraulic torque wrench.
Optional: 8.0 Ah high performance battery
The combination of new high-performance battery cells and completely newly developed electronic components in the pack ensure that maximum power remains available for a longer time. So you can now tighten even more bolts compared to the already impressively performing 5.2 Ah batteries.
The B-RAD SELECT / MB-RAD / B-RAD OFFSET 4000 & 7000 come standard with 1 x 8.0 Ah battery and 1 x 5.5 Ah battery, instead of 2 x 5.2 Ah batteries.
Thanks to the 8.0 Ah battery, the extremely powerful battery torque wrenches can tighten even more bolts.
Optional: Double Safety Button
All B-RAD torque wrenches can optionally be equipped with a “Double safety button”.
This optional safety system consists of an extra button on top of the tool which needs to be pressed simultaneously with the trigger in order to start operation of the tool.
This system dramatically reduces the pinching risk with the reaction arm as it forces the operator to hold two hands on the tool handle at all times.
