For torque wrenches with a higher capacity, the RTT can supply the Mobile Calibration System. This mobile calibration system uses standard M72 bolts and the RAD Smart Socket™. Application- or customer-specific bolts can also be used to accurately simulate the actual bolted joint.
Due to the vertical position of the torque wrench and the use of standard bolts, this calibration setup accurately replicates real field applications such as wind tower flange connections.
The system offers excellent ergonomics due to the vertical calibration position and is highly mobile thanks to the four swivel casters. In addition to calibrating torque wrenches based on the torque multiplier principle, the MCS is also suitable for static calibrations with a torque range of 4.000 Nm to 16.200 Nm.
