Since 2011, we have been authorized by the manufacturer RAD Torque Systems from Canada to service and officially calibrate RAD torque wrenches.
Over the years, our equipment and team have become increasingly professional, and with the opening of our new facility in Soest in 2023, we now have a truly state-of-the-art maintenance, repair, and calibration laboratory.
Repair & calibration department
Our services include factory-approved calibrations, gearbox overhauls, electronics repairs, and the processing of warranty cases on behalf of RAD. All RAD tools undergo repair by factory-trained technicians who use original RAD spare parts, and the repairs are accompanied by a 3-month warranty.
Equipped with specialized tools for gearbox opening and electronic testing equipment, our technicians facilitate efficient and professional repairs. Given our responsibility for distributing RAD tools and spare parts throughout Europe, we maintain a substantial inventory of spare parts to ensure swift repair services.
Torque Multiplier Calibration up to 24,400 Nm
Our calibration services cover torque multipliers up to 20,000 Nm. All RAD calibrations adhere to factory standards and are performed on our dynamic calibration benches within our controlled climate calibration room. We utilize cutting-edge measurement technology to simulate real-world applications and conditions. In some cases, we employ the customer’s own bolts to calibrate their wrench, ensuring the highest possible accuracy.
Torque Transducers
Every year, all of our torque transducers undergo calibration using ‘Weight and Beam’ systems at the ISO 17025 certified NWT calibration laboratory in Canada. Additionally, we crosscheck our transducers in-house on a weekly basis. Our capabilities extend to dynamic calibrations ranging from 30 to 24,400 Nm.
Please note that we do not provide calibration services for hydraulic wrenches or pressure gauges.
Manual Torque Wrenches ISO 6789
In our calibration room, we also perform calibrations on manual torque wrenches, adhering to ISO 6789 standards. Our certified calibration benches enable us to calibrate and verify various brands and types of manual wrenches, including clicker, dial, break, digital, and more. Additionally, we offer repair services for all TrackWrench® models. If a wrench is deemed non-repairable, we can provide a replacement unit.
Certification for Electrical Equipment NEN 3140
In accordance with the European NEN 3140 standard, all electrical tools which are used in professional settings must be annually checked for electrical safety. At Radial, we include a NEN 3140 inspection for all the tools we repair and calibrate.
OutSmart - Online Service Tracker
Embracing a paperless approach, our service department allows customers to submit repair or calibration requests seamlessly through the ‘OutSmart’ section on our website. Upon entering your repair job, you can easily track its status as it advances through our repair process. Each repair is digitally stored, complete with photos, and an automated repair estimate is automatically forwarded to the customer. Furthermore, each tool is associated with a comprehensive digital service history, encompassing certificates and relevant information.
